About Us

Welcome to Little People Nursery. We deliver consistently high standards of childcare and support to your children at affordable prices. We opened in 2011, our mission at Little People was to create and maintain a stimulating, safe and fun “home-from-home” setting, where children could develop as individuals at their own pace, through interactive learning and play.

We are fully registered with the Care Inspectorate and offer full and part-time placements for children from birth to 5 years. We are also now operating partnership with Dundee City Council and can offer funded places for eligible children.

At Little People we put your children at the centre of all we do. Over the years we have built a very good reputation for providing high-quality childcare and this is borne out by our inspection reports. Our qualified and experienced staff take pride in nurturing your children in our care and instilling in them all the skills and confidence they need to prepare them for their next steps into primary school and beyond.

All our rooms are all bright and airy with plenty of natural light. Our outside garden and play areas are extensive and offer a safe, secure and varied environment for all kinds of activities and play.

We encourage healthy eating and understand that a balanced diet is important to your child’s growth and development. We offer home-cooked food and healthy snacks and cater for as many dietary needs and preference.

The nursery setting offers easy access and parking which provides a safe drop-off.

The Mission of OurKids Kindergarten is to provide a safe, loving, Christian environment in which the young child can be nurtured spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically. We pledge to work in partnership with the home and the church to meet the total needs of the child. We will strive to glorify Jesus before our students and their families as a witness to our community.
